Keith is one of three state operated North Carolina Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Centers (ADATCs). This is the one that serves Jackson County. Located in Black Mountain. Has both DETOX and RESIDENTIAL facilities. Client can detox at Balsam and apply for bed or can detox directly in Julian Keith and apply for a bed (better chance for getting transfer directly from detox to a bed if the latter.)
